NewsInventory Change As of July 15, 2010 Go Baby Go! will no longer offer any "Drop-Rail-Cribs"! We have replaced all of our drop-rail cribs in anticipation of the recent recalls. The drop-rail cribs we used in our rental business have not had a recall on them specifically, but with all the new information being released on the dangers of drop-rail cribs we wanted to ensure our customers and their families were using only the latest, safest equipment on the market today. Recent Recall on Drop-Side Cribs "Although some of our cribs are dropdown style cribs, the current Voluntary Recall Delta issued on 6/24/10 does not apply to the cribs we carry, as the cribs we have do not have the same problematic drop-side hardware the recalled cribs have. Part of the Recall notice does however remind users to ensure the wooden side rails are not being used in the "upside down" position. Rest assure we do ensure each and every crib is well maintained and assembled properly. Please see this link for more information regarding the current recall notice: http://www.cpsc.gov/cpscpub/prerel/prhtml10/10273.html There was a Recall issued in 2008. Some of the cribs manufactured before 2006 were included in the recall, however it is very important that the consumer understand the reason and solution for the recall. The Delta cribs themselves have not been recalled. If the crib is MISSING the safety feature which prevents entrapment, the safety pegs must be replaced. Delta provided retrofit kits to all consumers for these problems. We inspect our cribs before and after every rental and none of our cribs are missing these safety pegs. The safety of our products is of the highest priority. We have never had a safety incident and will continue to remain vigilent in ensuring that that record stands. With all that said above, we have a Retrofit kit available for any customers who would like their crib to be a "fixed" side crib rather than "dropdown". The retrofit kit is easily installed at the time of delivery." |
